(Edmonton) – The B’nai Brith Canada and the Edmonton Philippine International Centre (EPIC) have partnered to celebrate May Jewish Heritage Month and June Filipino Heritage Month. This will be a fellowship night between the two communities, honouring Philippine President Manuel L. Quezon and his efforts in saving Jews during World War ll.
A highlight of the evening is the screening of the documentary “Rescue in the Philippines.”
This free event will be on May 28, 2023, Sunday, 5 pm at the Edmonton Philippine International Centre at 101o4 32 Avenue NW, Edmonton. Both Kosher and Filipino refreshments will be served.
