(AJNews) – On December 25, 2020, Steve Shafir, President of the Jewish Federation of Edmonton and Len Dolgoy, President of OPH issued a statement that confirmed the sale of the OPH retirement residence in Edmonton to Revera Inc.
Their joint statement explains that the beneficiary of the sale will be the Jewish Federation of Edmonton. It reads in full:
“As of Dec 15, 2020, Our Parents’ Home has been sold to Revera Inc. This is a decision taken after long deliberation by the OPH Board of Directors but one which, we believe will ensure the long term viability of Our Parents’ Home.
“Revera has agreed to continue with the existing culinary program at Our Parents’ Home, as well as retain the name of Our Parents Home, the staff, and all of the programming that currently takes place.
“The beneficiary of this sale will be the Jewish Federation of Edmonton. Details will be announced early in 2021.”
