(Edmonton – March 13, 2020) – It is with a heavy heart, and not taken lightly, that we have decided to cancel Festival Hatzafon this year due to current health concerns. While some risks can be mitigated, we all know this is a time to err on the side of caution.
That said, who doesn’t like a bit of fun?! We have come up with the following plan for a “Virtual Festival Hatzafon”!
WHAT IS A VIRTUAL FESTIVAL?
We will launch a video of the performance, thanks to REEL MENSCH PRODUCTIONS, on a private video channel for you to enjoy. We are looking forward to working with Reel Mensch Productions to create a virtual festival of recorded dances. Stay tuned for a link to the channel.
TICKETS
While we can reimburse you for tickets purchased, please consider this a contribution to the running of the festival. We have still incurred expenses (including this video) and your contribution will help offset the costs.
If you have not purchased a ticket, please consider a $20 contribution through Talmud Torah. We are not charging for the virtual festival but your support would be appreciated. Thank you to all of you who have supported us and to all of our sponsors.
Thank you for your understanding.
