(Calgary) – The sun was hot, and so was the friendly competition at the 8th annual Pitch for Israel softball tournament in Calgary on Sunday, August 27th. JNF Calgary couldn’t have asked for a better day to have some fun and do some fundraising. 108 players gave it their best on the diamonds and helped support the Or Yehuda Family Care Centre in Israel. Yasher Koach to all the participants and the organizers who helped make this a successful event!
Everyone had a great time and at the end of the day Team Shvitz and Shout (pictured above) won the tournament against the Maccabeats – (pictured below).
