Laurie Mozeson

EDMONTON, AB (September 6, 2018): United Conservative Leader Jason Kenney has issued a statement following the nomination of Laurie Mozeson as the Party’s candidate in Edmonton-McClung for the 2019 provincial election:

“I would like to congratulate Laurie Mozeson on her nomination victory in Edmonton-McClung.

“Laurie has had a long and distinguished career practicing law, having served the public faithfully as a provincial and federal prosecutor and Justice of the Peace. As Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, I had the great privilege of appointing Laurie as a Citizenship Judge in 2012, where she presided over countless citizenship ceremonies, welcoming thousands of new Canadians across Northern Alberta and the Northwest Territories. Laurie’s extensive experience will be a huge asset as we prepare to take on the NDP in the 2019 election and I am thrilled to welcome Laurie to the United Conservative team.

“I would also like to thank Steve Thompson and his team for their spirited campaign and dedication to our movement.”
