JNF Edmonton cancels 2017 Negev Gala

(EJNEws) – JNF Edmonton recently released the following statement to their valued supporters and friends:

Due to circumstances beyond our control, it has become necessary to cancel this year’s Negev Dinner planned for June 22, 2017.

Our commitment to Israel and the Ilanot school for children with special needs, has not diminished. We are committed to helping this wonderful school create a safe, accessible and stimulating outdoor environment for the students.  Through our community’s generosity we can complete the project by installing the final components of the playground.

Most of the children at the Ilanot school have extremely serious motor and cognitive disabilities and require individualized therapeutic activities that can address their impairments. The schoolyard will provide a pleasant setting specifically designed with features to foster their development and to enhance social and emotional wellbeing.

With this in mind, we encourage you to support JNF Edmonton’s efforts to help these children.  Please note that 100 % of your donation will go to this amazing school, and you will receive a tax receipt for the full amount.
