Proceeds from the Rap N Roll event will benefit a world-class animal-assisted therapy program at Retorno – the International Jewish Centre for Prevention and Treatment of Addictions.  It has a remarkable program that uses a therapeutic relationship with animals as a proven way to treat alcohol and drug abuse, primarily helping teens.  Providing animal care teaches young people responsibility, empathy and empowers inner self-confidence and healing.  Caring for animals fosters an improved self-image, allows for small victories and requires a need to maintain a disciplined schedule, all of which are essential for the rehabilitation of abusers. Retorno transforms the lives of its patients and prepares them to re-enter Israeli society.
