(AJNews) – Purim was celebrated with revelry around the world yesterday and once again there were wonderful celebrations in Edmonton. We’ll post more photos next week but here is an early peek at some of the festivities. We’ll post a peek at Calgary’s Purim events next week.
Last night Beth Israel had a fabulous children’s carnival, followed by the Megillah reading and an amazing Purim feast. See our photos here.
Chabad of Edmonton also had an amazing Purim feast at the Fantasyland Hotel and an early evening Kids Purim Bash. Photos to come.
Beth Shalom Synagogue held their delightful annual Purim Schpiel on March 16 both in person and live streamed. Visit our gallery for photos.
Shalom Baby celebrated Purim with a party for tots and parents. The Jewish Seniors celebrated Purim with their annual Purim schpeil, and a delicious lunch. On Sunday, Edmonton’s PJ Library held an outdoor Purim Book Walk for families.
Temple Beth Ora will be holding their Purim festivities in shul on March 19 at 10 am.
Of course Talmud Torah also celebrated Purim with zest! Here is a snapshot from their day.
Today March 18 is World’s Sleep Day. We need it after all that partying!
