Edmonton Music Theatre presents: Wedding Bells and Bombshells – June 21 – 30

(Edmonton) – Edmonton Musical Theatre presents “Wedding Bells and Bombshells” June 21, 22, 23, 28, 29, and 30 at 7:30 p.m. at the Westbury Theatre in the ATB Financial Arts Barns. Tickets available at Tix On The Square, www.tixonthesquare.ca or 780-420-1757.

In this original script by EMT alumni Meghan Schritt and Laura Blackwood, pandemonium erupts as the groom meets the bride’s side of the family, a wacky group of eccentric characters, for the first time!  With a varied musical theatre repertoire, it’s high energy all the way as we follow this unique entourage up to the wedding day. Your worst wedding day nightmares come true!

The Westbury Theatre will be graced with their large cast of 35 Adult and Youth performers. You will see some of your favorite EMT alumni along with some fresh Edmonton actors new to Edmonton Musical Theatre. EMT is a proud inclusive theatre organization that supports non-traditional casting.

 “Wedding Bells and Bombshells!” is directed by Sterling Award winner, Braydon Dowler Coltman; music direction by award winner, Randy Mueller. The University of Alberta’s BFA instructor, and multiple-award winner, Marie Nychka, adds her chorographic flair.
