Catering by Ed offers kosher take-out seder meals for Passover in Edmonton

Catering by Ed Kosher Cuisine is taking some of the stress out of Passover once again this year in Edmonton by providing a variety of options for a delicious Kosher for Pesach take-out seder meal.

“We are proud to be part of the Jewish community of Edmonton,” says Chef Eddie Yedgarova. “We offer this take-out menu as a way to make the Passover seder a little easier for everyone.”

The Passover holiday and the seder itself has many interesting (and labour intensive) components so this is one way of taking the meal off the host’s list of things to do.

There are 5 seder options available on Catering by Ed’s take-out menu this year.  Click here to view the menu.

The first four options serve 8 to 10 people and the fifth options is for larger groups serving 15 to 18 people.  All of the options include gefilte fish with horseradish as an appetizer as well as side dishes: potato or matzah kugel, cucumber salad, roasted potatoes or yams, glazed baby carrots or veggie medley.

The menu options for the entrée include Sweet and Sour Meatballs, or Roasted Chicken or Brisket or Beef Stew. The larger group entrée includes a whole Turkey with cranberry sauce.

Vegan Eggplant Lasagna can be substituted as the mail entrée in any of the seder options.

“There are limited quantities available so please place your order as soon as possible,” explains Susan Yedgarova. “Orders need to placed and paid by March 27, 2017 so we’ll have time to do the shopping and the cooking. Then the meals will be available for pickup at Beth Israel Synagogue on April 9.”

Place your order by calling Susan Yedgarova by March 27 at 780-966-5080 or by email to cateringbyed@shaw.ca.
