After an exciting season of great competition and camaraderie, the Edmonton Jewish Baseball Season came to an edge-of-your-seat close last month. The Cushman-Wakefield team expertly led by Captain Shane Asbell, won the EJBL championship tourney against Team Watch it! capably captained by Darwin Werner.

Noah Soifer, from Team Liquor Depot was awarded the Silver Slugger trophy as well as Most Valuable Player.

Once again the stand-out performances were recognized with trophies and accolades. Noah Soifer from Team Liquor Depot, was the most decorated player with League MVP and Silver Slugger honours.

Other top awards went to Cushman-Wakefield Captain Shane Asbell who was awarded the Norm Pollock Mensche Award.  Zayda of the Year Award went  to Jerry Antflick.
