Staffing update: Leadership transition at Beth Tzedec in Calgary

by Jeff Dworkin

(Calgary) – After three years of dedicated leadership, our CEO David Inhaber, has made the decision to step down. During his time at the helm, David played a vital role in strengthening our Beth Tzedec community—helping to guide us through both challenges and growth, deepening our connections and shaping our vision for the future. His passion, dedication, and leadership have left a lasting impact, and we are deeply grateful for all he has done.

While David is moving on to another opportunity, we are thrilled that he will remain an active part of our kehillah, continuing to volunteer and rejoining the Board of Directors. His commitment to Beth Tzedec is unwavering, and we know he will continue to make a difference in our community.

Starting Monday, March 3, we are fortunate to have Max Lipsman reprising his role as Interim Executive Director to ensure a smooth transition. The Board has begun the search for a permanent Executive Director, with the goal of having them in place in time for High Holiday planning.

Please join us in thanking David for his leadership and dedication. We look forward to celebrating his contributions and seeing him continue to be an integral part of the Beth Tzedec community.

Jeffrey Dworkin is President of Beth Tzedec Congregation.
