Calgary Kristallnacht Commemoration and the Jewish Film Festival: Tonight

(Calgary) – Join Calgary Jewish Federation at Calgary Beth Tzedec Congregation‘s Jewish Film Festival!

Thursday, November 9 • 7pm: Kristallnacht – The Night of Broken Glass

The annual community commemoration will be followed by the screening of “Four Winters: A Story of Jewish Partisan Resistance and Bravery in WWII”. Julia Mintz, director, writer, and producer of the film will be in attendance for a post-screening Q&A. This is a free event – no registration required.

Saturday, November 11 • 7pm & 9pm: JAC Night at the Movies

Enjoy a double-header with JAC-Jewish Adult Calgary for $20 per person. Ticket price includes screening of: “Perfect Strangers” and “March ’68”, plus snacks and refreshments during the intermission. Purchase tickets:

Families are invited to join PJ Library Calgary for a special event at the Jewish Film Festival! Watch “Something from Nothing” and then stay after the film to dive into the world of storytelling, and craft our own unique creations – making something from nothing! Register for free:
