In Edmonton, October 8 is opening at Scotiabank Theatre at West Edmonton Mall on April 4 and the Jewish Federation of Edmonton “is encouraging our community to bring your friends and allies out to see this important film. You are welcome to join Federation staff when we head to the theatre on Wednesday, April 9 for the 6:30 p.m. showing.”
This film features compelling insights from well-known figures, including Debra Messing, Michael Rapaport, Mosab Yousef (son of Hamas’s co-founder), Sheryl Sandberg, Scott Galloway, U.S. Rep. Ritchie Torres, U.S. Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, U.S. Ambassador Deborah Lipstadt, ADL CEO Jonathan Greenblatt, Dan Senor, Noa Tishby, Bari Weiss, and a survivor from Nir Oz. October 8 also uncovers the deep connections between Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood, raising urgent questions about the future of Western democracy.
