Noah Wyle, Robby Hoffman and Zoë Kravitz are among the long list of Jewish talent.

(Hey Alma) – When the 77th Primetime Emmy Awards air on Sept. 14, the odds that there will be at least a handful of Jewish winners is very high. Out of all the categories, there are at least 25 high-profile celebrities nominated who identify as Jewish or have Jewish ancestry. (And that doesn’t take into account the typically very Jewish TV show writing staffs!)
While “Severance” unsurprisingly leads with 27 nominations, “The Studio” — Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg’s very Jewish send-up of Hollywood — garnered an impressive 23 nods. Everyone’s favorite hot rabbi show “Nobody Wants This” snagged a respectable 3 nominations. Plus, Jewish performers Jenny Slate and Harrison Ford are somehow first-time nominees. Robby Hoffman has previously been nominated for Daytime Emmy Awards, and won one. But this also marks her first Primetime Emmy nomination and it comes for playing ex-Hasidic gay assistant Randi in “Hacks.” Similarly, Noah Wyle’s nomination for “The Pitt” is his first in over 20 years and could potentially lead to his first-ever Emmy win.
