Timothée Chalamet’s pursuit of awards season glory with “Marty Supreme” begins, Eva Victor is a first time honoree for “Sorry, Baby” and more!

(Hey Alma via JTA) – When Nikki Glaser returns as host of the 2026 Golden Globes on Jan. 8, the hilarious comedian still won’t be Jewish. (That’s right, we saw the surge in popularity to our “Is Nikki Glaser Jewish?” article last year during the 2025 Golden Globes.) But there are plenty of Jewish nominees being honored for their excellence in film and television this year!

“One Battle After Another,” directed and written by Paul Thomas Anderson (aka Maya Rudolph’s husband), came away with nine nominations — the most of any title. “Sentimental Value” received eight nominations, “Sinners” landed seven, “Hamnet” trailed just behind with six and both “Frankenstein” and “Wicked: For Good” got five nods. Meanwhile, “Marty Supreme,” the forthcoming Timothée Chalamet movie inspired by Jewish table tennis legend Marty Reisman, came away with three nominations for best lead actor, best screenplay and best movie.

“The White Lotus” led the TV categories with its six nominations. “Adolescence” followed with five noms, as did “Only Murders in the Building” and “Severance” with four apiece. Season two of the extremely Jewish TV show “Nobody Wants This” totaled three nominations for lead actor, lead actress and best musical or comedy TV series.

If these categories seem a little light on Jews, that’s because the majority of the big Jewish machers were nominated in acting categories! So, without further ado, here are all the big Jewish nominees at the 83rd Golden Globe awards:
