‘One thread, six million lives’ exhibit opens at Calgary Public Library on January 5

Join the Calgary Jewish Community on Monday, January 5 at 11:00 am at Central Calgary Library for the opening celebration of “One Thread, Six Million Lives” – a poignant exhibit on display throughout January in honour of International Holocaust Remembrance Day.

Created by Samantha Kassel and Brandon Hearty, it traces Nazi mechanisms of persecution through the story of one survivor, Wolf “Willie” Woznica. The exhibit is free and open to all. Registration is not required.

Presented in partnership by Calgary Jewish Federation’s Holocaust and Human Rights: Remembrance and Education department and Calgary Public Library with support from the Balaban and Krell families, Viewpoint Foundation, and donors to the Calgary Public Library Foundation Human Rights and Holocaust Education Fund.
